WISP/SMALL FISP
Our history is born in the Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) industry. With over 20 years experience in this market we are well aware of the growth constraints imposed on the small operator. We are also well aware of the hurdles small operators come up against. With the current market becoming saturated with various forms of government funding, much of which being allocated to large providers (the big guys), it is becoming a titanic hurdle to survive in this space, let alone thrive and grow.
The Total Cost of Entry into the FTTx may seem insurmountable to many small operators. It is an expensive venture with a longer ROI. Many small providers simply do not feel they can shoulder the risk. As each small operator is forced to sell to "The Big Guys" or worse yet, close their doors, the consumer is the one who suffers. Competition is necessary to drive innovation and consumer affordability. We would like to help with that.
We are offering a small operator program where we will provide discounted construction services as well as finance part of the fee so that you can offer competitive services to your subscriber base. We want to be a part of the solution, shouldering some of the financial burden is where we can do this.
How does it work?
Based on your subscriber base, we will help you to identify target areas where you may be able to aggressively pursue a sufficient customer base that will ROI in a fairly reasonable amount of time. Without the full upfront construction costs you will be able to apply the additional revenue more quickly to continue to stabilize or grow your network and compete in the changing small market landscape.
Our target area will be neighborhoods with customer density sufficient to drive revenue at a pace that allows ROI prior to the end of the finance term. A preferred project will be 3000-6000 feet, passing 25-50 serviceable addresses. Ideally we will construct you neighborhood mainline duct and fiber, with you following up on customer drops. We do offer end to end turnkey construction to the exterior dmarc, however this additional cost makes the construction less cost effective for many smaller operators.
